Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.)

What is Accelerated Resolution Therapy (A.R.T.)?

Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a specific form of psychotherapy. It is unique because it focuses on reprogramming the way distressing images are stored in the brain. Most Popular Questions

A.R.T. differs from traditional psychotherapy or talk therapy in that a client only needs 2 to 5 sessions. The initial intake is 55 minutes and your therapist will gather pertinent information regarding the problematic issue or symptoms you are experiencing. The therapist will then explain how all other A.R.T. sessions take place.

The following appointments, your therapist will take you through the A.R.T. protocol which includes the back-and-forth eye movements and image replacement. This takes between 60 and 90 minutes.

Follow-up appointments are typical and we will schedule them as needed.
The main benefit of A.R.T. is that once you replace troubling images with positive ones, you will no longer experience triggers from the traumatic experience. Nightmares and intrusive thoughts stop.
